Who we are and what we do.
We are a registered charity and as such, we provide opportunities for young people and young adults to take responsibility for a part of their lives, either as volunteers providing instruction or support within our project, or actually taking part in the activities that we offer. We also give individuals and group’s a chance to learn new skills and to gain qualifications (many for the first time) and to take responsibility for themselves and their actions.
We have an enviable reputation for the work that we deliver, with and alongside young people from all backgrounds and areas. We do our best to empower young people and allow them over time, to be in a position to become creative and active within the community where they live or with us as project volunteers.

Who do we work with?
Young people and young adults who receive little or no parental support. Young people who are at risk from negative peer pressure. Young people who have had involvement with the police and the courts.
Young people and young adults who are from areas that suffer severe social and financial depravation or social exclusion.
Young people that are rewarded for various activities they may have taken part in for example community work and youth forums
- Young people and young adults who are perhaps because of their history and their circumstances disadvantaged in terms of education, qualifications and self esteem; circumstances that have led to or is leading to long-term unemployment.
Our charity area of benefit is West Yorkshire; There are, to our knowledge, no other totally volunteer run organisations that work with young people in the way that we do and who have as many positive and close links with the communities that we work with and the agencies within those areas where we are based. Remember we do not employ anyone.
Is there a need for our project?
The need for the project is, we think, evident in the amount of referrals that we receive from the community, and the agencies that we work in partnership with, such as the Police, Education Welfare, Social Services, schools and voluntary agencies.
